Why should user manage catalog products in category / sub category ?

for easier management and quick searching within application

Once you publish and distribute your presentation, your viewer / visitor can conveniently navigate the entire presentation.
uniform structure in terms of catalog product codes (SKU) and sequence of display in presentation as well in slide shows

How to manage category / sub category ?

The configuration setting is very important for Category, as the catalog product's name (title) and code (SKU) can be configured for each Category / sub category.

How to open Category Management Window :

a. From menu - click ( Menu - File- Category Management ) or click from program quick buttons

How to Edit Category / sub category Name/Code

To edit an existing Category / sub category, first select existing Category or sub category (you want to edit)

click Edit Name Button OR Edit Code Button .

Upon clicking the button, a new window will open to seek the Category / sub category's new name or code.

Fill the new name / code and click OK to complete the change. Upon Clicking OK, Program asks for confirmation in line with configuration setting.

If the catalog products are configured for their respective name or code, based upon collection name or code, then the program prompts you for any updates on existing catalog product's name/codes. If you confirm for such changes, program will carry out necessary updates.

How to Delete Category / sub category

To delete an existing category / sub category, first select existing category / sub category (you want to Delete)
Now, Click Delete Button .

Upon clicking the button, Program will prompt you with caution that, Once data is deleted can not be recovered. and Upon deletion of category, its sub categories are also deleted. Click either Yes to confirm deletion or No to skip the deletion.

How to Move Category / sub category (change its hierarchy)

User may move Category / sub category from Category Window.

If you want to move an existing Category / sub category from its existing hierarchy to another category / sub category, first select existing Category or sub category (you want to move)

Now, click Move Button .

select destination Category from existing Category/sub category Node

click OK button to complete the move process and click cancel to skip the move process.

How to Auto update Product (Catalog Product) Name

To update the Name (title) of all existing catalog products under specific category / sub category, first select existing category / sub category

Now, click Auto Update Product Name Button .

If the catalog product's name is set on category's name/code through configuration setting, then entire catalog products under selected category will be reset in line with configuration setting.

How to Auto update Product (Catalog Product) Code

To update the Code of all existing catalog products under specific category / sub category, first select existing category / sub category

Now, click Auto Update Product Code Button .

If the catalog product's code is set on category's code through configuration setting, then entire catalog products under selected category will be reset in line with configuration setting.

How to Add (create new) Category / sub category

From Category Management Window, user may create new Category and/or sub category.

If No Category exist in the Category window, click the button " create new Category / sub category"

If you already have existing Category / sub category, first select existing Category or sub category (at the level you want to create new Category or at child level / sub level you want to create new sub category). Now ,click the button " create new Category / sub category"

Upon clicking the button, a new window will open for new Category / sub category.

select Option for creation at same level of selected existing Category/sub category OR at sub level of existing Category/sub category

Fill the new Category / sub category related details:

Name (*) - Max length of input text 50 characters
Code (*) - Max length of input text 5 characters
Code Begin Number (*) - do not input any decimals or negative numbers

Code begin number will be used to provide auto code to new catalog products (inserted under this Category / sub category), if configuration setting is set to provide auto code on Category.

click Create button to complete the creation process and click cancel button to skip the creation process.
