Sales Offer / Quotation Making

Application facilitates creation of  new sales offer / quotation from most windows (Product Show Case, Search Window, Customer Driven Album, Customer Offer Management Window). To create a new quotation, first select products from thumbnail pane and insert them to selection basket.

There must be products in the selection basket to create new quotation / offer.

• From Customer Offer Management Window, select customer and then click or click Menu - eBusiness - New Offer or from other windows (Product Show Case, Search Window, Customer Driven Album)-  click
   

 Upon clicking, button / menu- a new window will open with selected customer and products (from selection basket).

 

• Customer - drop down list to select customer (compulsory input field)
• Offer No.- fill unique offer reference no (compulsory input field)
• Date - offer date (compulsory input field)
• Currency- offer currency (compulsory field)
• Additional information (optional) - User may insert necessary inputs for:
  • terms of delivery & payment
  • place of delivery
  • country of final destination
  • port of loading
  • port of discharge
  • estimated delivery schedule
  • Notes to offer (user may put up to 6 comments / terms and conditions to offer)
     
• Offer Products:
   

  all selection basket items are included in this list along with default info (catalog products, default quantity as 1 for each, price data and volume data as per catalog product fact sheet). User can do the following tasks in the list:

  • remove products by selecting row and pressing DEL on keyboard
  • edit quantity offered, price offered (both compulsory inputs and can not be left blank),
  •  Volume, MOQ, weight
  • input comments for each product

• Upon filling customer quotation / offer information, user can save by clicking to create new offer. and for skipping creation click cancel button

 

• Edit existing offer

To edit existing offer, select existing offer from offer browser pane in Customer Offer Management Window and click Edit button  .  If there are catalog products in selection basket, program asks user for their confirmation to include them as well in selected offer. If user intends to include them, confirm to the message. Now the Offer / Quotation Window (as shown above) will open. User may edit it and click save to update and click cancel to skip updates.
