building (available in Product Show Case Window and in Search
Window)- Available in Secured Access Only
Catalog Contents
Program has very flexible and
powerful content building process to suit competitive business
needs.

its name (title), code (SKU), pricing info, short
description (sale pitch) and detailed description

special view graphics to display additional
graphics for catalog product (e.g. closeouts, multiple views of catalog
product
etc)

special magnified map view graphic, to suit business
needs

replace catalog product's graphic

search key words for powerful search on entire catalog

product's multimedia files

product weight, dimension related information

customized fields (industry specific and user
defined data)

dimension (CBM/CBF) computation

Web links for web catalog integration
User may review configuration setting for
catalog product's name, code; graphic settings, display captions for
contents (so as to facilitate customized caption for contents to
suit business needs) and security setting.
Click Content Button 
or
edit command from Menu (Menu- Catalog
Product- Edit Catalog Product details).
Upon such an action, the program will open content window for
specific catalog product.
From main pane in this
window - user can

edit Code (SKU) and
Name (title) - both compulsory inputs

de active catalog
products (deactivation will exclude such catalog products from
new presentations; However for old presentations, such deactivations
will not be applicable) by un checking catalog product active flag
-
weight details (select
weight unit / UOM from drop down list and fill product weight data)
-
price details, shipping
details
-
product dimension
details
-
brief description
(usually sale pitch)- max content not exceeding 200 characters

User defined details
(click for for
custom field setting and content caption details setting )
User may input detailed
description of catalog product through description pane (supports
html contents). If user intends to provide html content, do not
provide <html> and <body> tags in it.
Upon clicking , a new
window will open for multimedia catalog management.
Selection list shows the list of multimedia files referred in the
program Name of the file is not displayed in
presentations and is key identifier of specific file
Path refers to source path of file. Once inserted into program,
application preserves its copy in its contents
Internal notes are used for management references
Display Notes are shown on presentations, along with file path
(local file or web URL). Application supports
both local file as well web URL . User needs to select either of
option and provide the file path.

User may select
existing multimedia file for specific catalog product from selection
List and edit existing file contents

choose to edit (by
clicking
).

edit name / path /
internal notes /display notes

to update local file,
click browse button for file path. if the file already exists in
content data for selected catalog product, it will warn user for
insertion. Alternatively, if user wants to provide web URL link for
such file, select web URL option and fill the path in input area
(e.g. http://www.yourcompany.com/files/abc.avi)

click to save
to update changes or click cancel

skip updating.

User may select
existing multimedia file for specific catalog product from selection
List to delete it from content data. and then click
to remove. Application will warn user for such deletion and upon
confirmation, will remove the file from the list as well content
data.

User may insert
multimedia file for specific catalog product

choose to insert new
file (by clicking
).

inputs)

To manage search
keywords in the program, refer
how to manage search keywords
in the program and its use in search for presentation as well
program? Upon
clicking, Search Keyword window will open:
Left side list will
display all search keywords, and right side list will display the
search keywords assigned to selected catalog product.

To assign selected
search keyword from left side list, select the keywords (multi
select through CTRL+list items)

click > to
assign

to assign all search
keywords from left side list, click >>
To remove assigned
search keywords

select search keywords
from the right side list (multi select through CTRL+ list items)

click > to
remove assignment
-
to remove all search
keywords currently assigned, click <<
Now click save button
to update search keywords and click cancel button
to skip updating.
User can build catalog
contents with unlimited additional graphics for catalog product's
closeouts etc and special map view graphics.

Application supports
special thumbnail graphic (e.g. user can provide transparent
thumbnail) for use in presentation creation. User can click browse
button to provide (or change) special thumbnail.

For special view
additional graphics (closeouts etc):

For special map view
graphic, click browse button to provide (or change) special large
size graphic file (supported format jpeg, gif or bmp). Since this
map view file is used in presentation to display product in special
view, recommended file size is 1200*1200 pixels.
